Dustin’s Thinking Cap was designed for Amazon and independent retailers in 2022

Bioworld Merchandising’s company motto is “by nerds for nerds”. Bioworld works in tandem with licenses and retailers to design a variety of products. A part of the design process is thorough trend research and learning about the fan culture that surrounds a license to develop products that sit at that crossroads.

We work with sales team members, buyers, and communicate with factories to make sure designs are to standard and meet production deadlines.

Getting to make replicas of items worn by characters is always exciting. I got to make Dustin’s “thinking cap” from season 4 of Stranger Things. The cap is a classic color blocked blue and white polyester trucker. The front artwork is a transfer print. Dustin is hilarious in the show! Seeing people use my hat for their halloween costumes was wonderful.
